The hard work of coach Marcus Jenkins and his players guided the Redbacks to their second win of the season in round eight when they defeated Hamilton.
The team will travel to face the Warrnambool Seahawks on Saturday before hosting the Mount Gambier Lakers on Sunday.
Jenkins was happy with last week’s performance, and hopes to see more of the same.
“I was really pleased with how they went on the weekend – everyone did their roles, which was good,” he said.
“The old cliche is one game at a time, so we will be looking at Warrnambool straight up and then I will turn my focus to Sunday’s game.
“Mount Gambier is one of the elite teams in the competition, so they are very well-drilled.
“It will be a good game hopefully on Sunday at home and hopefully we get a good crowd down there to support the boys.”
