“Team members are doing their best to contain the spread of the illness and ask community members to be vigilant and avoid visiting these areas,” the group says in its latest update on Facebook.

WIMMERA Health Care Group is urging residents not to visit the Wimmera Base Hospital’s Oxley unit unless absolutely necessary after a gastroenteritis outbreak.
The group released a statement on its Facebook page on Friday in relation to the Horsham hospital.
“We will keep everyone informed when Oxley is clear of gastro,” it said.
“Thanks to all team members for their great work with extra cleaning and duties to reduce the spread.”
