Weidemann represented Victoria in the championships in Bunbury, Western Australia throughout this week.
Victoria came away with the gold after defeating the Australian Capital Territory in the final on Wednesday.
The ACT batted first and made 99 runs, which proved too small a total. Victoria’s openers dominated to help guide Victoria to a 10-wicket win.
Weidemann bowled well and took figures of 2-12 in the final.
Victoria won their three pool games and then beat Western Australia in the semi-final to book the grand final spot.
Weidemann was in the team primarily as a bowler and had a positive tournament – he took 1-23, 2-4 and 2-8 in the three pool games, and 0-8 off six overs in the semi-final.
