Daniel Parkin will join incumbent coach Scott Carey at the helm for 2019, sharing the top job as joint coaches.
Carey has lead the senior side since 2016, taking them to two finals berths but falling short of where they would have liked both times.

Parkin, who joined the Baggies last season, will add valuable experience to the leadership model at the club.
He has strong previous experience, having coached multiple premierships in his time at Navarre.
Carey said he is looking forward to working with Parkin in a new capacity.
“We sat down at end of last season and looked at areas to get better. The quality of Daniel’s coaching is something we identified that would be really beneficial to the team,” Carey said.
“He knows what it takes to be successful and will provide us with insights into how we can push to go to the next level.”
Swifts bowed out in the first week of the 2018 finals series, losing to Edenhope-Apsley in extra time despite leading going into the final quarter of normal time.
Carey said Parkin’s experience will bode well to help the side go further than last season.
“We knew we needed a bit of a new look at things but to keep on building on what we have started,” he said.
“Parko fitted that bill really well and will know the areas we want to work on and get better at.”
Parkin will continue playing on as well as coaching.
Despite now sharing the role as head coach, Carey said he will not step back in his intensity towards the position.
“I will continue doing what I’m doing, we are just adding Daniel's credentials and doubling up the resources we have as coaches,” he said.
“We can obviously cover a few more areas where we want to improve now that there is two of us.
“It is really big for the club and I’m really excited for next year.”
Crosstown club Stawell Warriors also adopted the joint coach approach in 2018, something those at the club think was very beneficial and worked well.
