A lovely time was enjoyed by all who attended.
President Mrs Joan Parker created a Rainbow Theme for the end of year celebrations.
The tables were decorated with Christmas trees and different coloured tinsel and a small bag, with a wristband of coloured tinsel, was placed at each setting.
After the lovely roast main course was finished, members all opened their bags and moved to the table decorated with the colour they found at their place setting.
After settling at our new tables, Joan’s entertainment began.
A lot of laughter and fun was had by all.
Well done to Joan and her helpers.
Sweets followed and members continued enjoying themselves socially for some time afterward.
For those interested in becoming a member, the club aims to advance intellectual and cultural interests among retired women and conducts regular meetings and activities for fellowship and social interaction.
Meetings are held from 9.45am on the first Monday of the month at the RSL in Horsham,
Members enjoy talks from guest speakers and social outings.
As we do not hold a meeting in January, our Christmas New Year break ends with our first meeting for 2019 on Monday, February 4, 2019.
Members, please remember the club’s AGM is on March, 4.
If you feel you, or a fellow member, is capable of holding a position on the committee, please put up your hand, as no club can function without leaders.
Nominations are due by the February meeting.
