Marker for the day Judy Brian said it was an exciting contest.
“It was a very close couple of games before Geoff Bald probably sort of streaked away on the last couple of ends and won,” Brian said.
The ladies club singles championships were also played on the same day in a big day for Coughlin Park.
Shirley Schorback defeated Julieanne Stehn in what was another close and exciting game.
“Julieanne was getting beaten fairly well and then she really came back with some good bowling,” Brian said.
