Warracknabeal Police Senior Constable Sharlene Baldock said police intercepted the woman in her late 50s driving on the Stawell-Warracknabeal Road on Wednesday at 12.30pm.
“Police conducted a preliminary breath test which returned a positive result,” she said.
“The woman was escorted to Warracknabeal Police Station when she undertook an evidentiary breath test that returned a reading of 0.107, which was double the legal limit.”
The driver’s licence will be suspended for 10 months and she was fined $684.
