Dimboola 1 knocked off top side Horsham City 1 by 35 shots. Judith Albrecht, Reinhard Danisch, Greg Cook and Peter O'Loughlin (s) won 34-11 to play a big part in the win.
Sunnyside 1 had a 24-shot win over Coughlin Park 1.
Each side won two rinks, but a 40-13 win by Sue Lyttle, Dale McRae, Keith Haeusler and Rex Bergen (s) was pivotal.
Horsham City 2 and Nhill 1 shared the rink wins with the Nhill side ending up 11 shots ahead.
Kaniva 1 were too good for Horsham Golf 1 on their home patch winning all four rinks and scoring by 52 shots.
In Division 2, top side Natimuk continued on their winning way by defeating Sunnyside 3 by 51 shots.
The rinks skipped by Bob Pritchett and Ron Pannan both had big wins.
Division 3 top side Coughlin Park 3 beat Sunnyside 4 by 52 shots. They kept Sunnyside to low scores in all three rinks in a dominant display. Dimboola 2 had handy wins in all three rinks to defeat Horsham City 4 by 21 shots. Nhill 3 won by the same 21-shot margin over Edenhope 2.
All Midweek Pennant games were cancelled due to the extreme heat rule.
The Men’s State Fours were contested at Natimuk just before Christmas.
The winners were the Sunnyside team of Stuart Cowan, Rex Bergen, Keith Haeusler and Ash Batchelor (s). State Triples events were due to be played this week but were also cancelled due to heat.
