West Wimmera Group president Sadie Williams has requested that souvenirs for World Conference be taken to the group conference, as Janette O'Keefe can take back to Melbourne.
If there are any stragglers, Sadie will take these to the March state council meeting.
The recent judges’ update was very inspiring and clarification was provided re the craft competition, "Faces" at the state exhibition.
Each item must have at least one or more faces of some sort.
It can be embroidery with only the features (doll, teddy, toy, clock, cliff face) abstract as long as some features are there.
Most things have a face – the possibilities are limitless and very open, as long as the work was completed in the past 18 months.
West Wimmera’s Horsham Branch met recently.
Members attended their first meeting of the year and there was some discussion about conference details for February 27, as Horsham will be the host.
Craft for this month is finishing off the patchwork charity table runners.
Bev Shalders is keen to hear from anyone that would like to be part of the Ballarat coach trip on Tuesday, March 26, open to all interested persons, money paid with booking.
Participants will visit craft and patchwork shops in Ballarat.
Two scholarships were awarded to grandchildren of CWA members for the coming year.

Single bloom: 1st, Jenni Mitchell; 2nd, Merlyne Phelan; double bloom Helen Tory and Jenni Mitchell.
Preparations for the field days were also discussed.
Central Wimmera Group Conference will be held on February 28 at Warracknabeal.
Looking in the Willenabrina syllabus, I note that the branch will celebrate their 68th birthday in May.
WW Branch, Drung South also list some interesting dates to note: May 5 to 11, CWA week. May 5 - church parade. June: their 56th birthday.
