Orlan Hart will take to the stage in the lead role of Pinocchio while Josiah Mock will be playing Geppetto.
Orlan performed in the college’s last production of Lion King Jr as young Simba. He was also cast in the Horsham Arts Council's Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat last year.
“I really like singing and dancing and it gives me the chance to express myself on stage,” Orlan said. “I think it will be a challenge to play Pinocchio, but I will try my hardest.”
My Son Pinocchio Jr will be a big show for Josiah who will be performing in his last school production.
“It is my final year at school and this musical will be a big one for me,” he said.
Josiah has plenty of experience on stage through his involvement with the Horsham Arts Council, but he said this role will test his abilities.
“The role requires me to push passed my limits because I am playing a father figure, which I have no experience in yet,” he said.
“I will be challenging myself. I’ll need to learn an Italian accent and I will be interacting with different scenes like the toy store and adventure island, which will need me to adapt and change.”
I think it will be a challenge to play Pinocchio, but I will try my hardest.

Josiah hoped he could become a mentor for the young members of the cast.
“We vary between year four students and year 12 student. We all have different abilities that we are bringing to the production and I hope that being an older member of the cast, I will be able to help everyone,” he said.
“I hope to get everyone excited about performing. I love sport, but it is always good to have a go on stage and performing offers fun, new opportunities.”
My Son Pinocchio Jr will retell the classic Disney story from Geppetto’s perspective.
The students will perform on June 20 and June 21.
