Centre Emily Hateley and goal attack Amy Pilgrim will not be available this season after being key pillars to the premiership last year. Hateley will be missing due to pregnancy while Pilgrim has left to study.
Coach Cheryl Sudholz said the duo would be a loss, but hoped the side could overcome their absence.
"Fundamentally the core is still there, but we will have to find a replacement for those two," she said.
"We'll miss both of them, but we will get to give some others a chance.
"We're looking to try and bring the juniors in where we can and mentor them this season, give them a bit of a chance in A Grade and B Grade so that should be good."
Sudholz said there was an exciting atmosphere around the club with more than 50 netballers coming to training in the first several weeks.
"We're seeing a few more people attending each week, as well as some of the members of the previous years coming back that have either been pregnant or had years away," Sudholz said.
"We're trying to fit 54 players into four grades at the moment. It's about trying to find a happy medium to make sure everyone has a good run.
"We always try to encourage and make sure that new players feel welcome at the club. Training has been lots of fun so far with a lot of girls very keen to play."
