Formally known as the TAC Cup, the NAB League will have a few tweaks to it as well as the inclusion of the Tasmanian Devils to the league.
While largely being a similar competition to the TAC Cup, the NAB League aims to have an even higher focus on support and education for the young guns as they look to transition into the national competition.
Greater Western Victoria Rebels talent manager Phil Partington said this was great for getting players ready for to take the next step, from a more holistic view.
“The NAB League is a significant step forward for the under-18 competition and will offer our players, coaches and staff the opportunity to grow as an organisation," Partington said.
“We are excited about what this year holds and know that our players will be in the best position to take the next step in their careers and lives.”
