She will discuss interracial dating, Australian television, misogyny in Hip Hop and more in a night of stories, poetry, jokes, observations and songs with plenty of booty shaking.
Ms Bowers said her parents were political refugees seeking asylum from Apartheid South Africa in 1973.
"I grew up in the suburbs watching Home and Away and reading Dolly magazine," she said.
"Back then, there weren’t many bi-sexual black women to look at, let alone to look up to. Australian Booty is about being the change I want to see. By laying my heart, my soul and my body bare.
"I hope to smash oppressive norms and inspire folks to look at themselves and the world in a new way.
"We still don’t see enough diversity in Australian-made TV programs, in film or theatre and it shocks me that I’m still an anomaly on the comedy scene.
"But after half a lifetime, we are finally at the precipice of great change."
The soundtrack to Australian Booty has been composed by Ms Bower's sister Kim, who composes and performs under the stage name "Busty Beatz".
