"It was a really good night. We had about 30 players there and the two guys were really encouraging and helpful. The kids learnt a lot I think," Horsham under-14s coach Brett Janetzki said.
"The boys were a bit shy to start with but they warmed up to their coaches for the night.
"They encouraged them but also kept them honest by penalising them if they did something wrong."
Janetzki said the former Cats were both "down to earth guys".
"They were really easy going which made the night so easy," he said.
"They commented it was great to give back to junior kids and would love to do more stuff like it in the country."
