The under-14 grand final, being played between Homers Red and Dunmunkle Red, took place on the turf wicket of City Oval for the first time ever.
Dunmunkle Renegades and Homers will battle it out in the under-16.5 grand final from 2pm.
"It is pretty exciting to give those kids the chance to play cricket on such a great stage," HCA secretary Darren Chesterfield said.
"It is the first time we have played both games on the same day. It will be a great chance for young cricketers to show off their abilities in front of what we hope is quite a good crowd."
