This week we chat to Geoff Baker about the different groups he is involved with.

Age: 78
Place of residence: Horsham
What do you love most about your town? What makes it tick? Strong activities such as sport. Good community involvement.
What is something people might not know about you? Old sporting and business career.
What recipe are you renowned for among your family and friends? Are you willing to share it with readers? "Wally Burgers"
What community groups are you involved in? Wimmera Mobility Group, Horsham & District U3A, Horsham Probus Club.
When did you become involved in volunteering? 15 years ago at least.
What is your most outstanding memory from your time as a volunteer? Organising bus trips.
Have there been any challenges? Yes, getting people to leave on time.
If you had all the time in the world to pursue and perfect any hobby, what would it be? Yabbying and fishing.
What are you reading? Do not read books, but read The Wimmera Mail-Times and The Herald Sun.
What’s your favourite holiday destination? Many, but Cooper Pedy was the best.
What’s the best piece of advice you’ve been given? My grandfather said, do it once, do it right.
WALLY BURGERS
500g of minced meat
500g of sausage meat
2 Cups of milk
2 Packets of chicken noodle soup
2 Cups of water
4 Eggs
2 Onions grated or chopped finely
2 Carrots grated
2 Cups of self raising flour
Salt and pepper to taste or you could use garlic to taste as well.
Mix Together with a blender and let stand for one hour.
Spoon on to BBQ or frying pan.
NOTE: If you think it is too much made up, then halve everything.
