POLICE identified the identity of a motorcyclist who died from a fatal crash at Goroke on Tuesday evening.
Goroke's Leading Senior Constable Jim Richardson said the 42-year-old man was a resident of Goroke. His family has been notified.
Leading Senior Constable Richardson said investigations are ongoing to determine the exact cause of the crash.
He said emergency services are grateful to a number of road-users who stopped and rendered their assistance at the time of the crash.

Another life has been lost on Wimmera roads on Tuesday night.
Police are investigating a fatal crash at Goroke at about 6.40pm on Tuesday evening.
Investigators believe a motorcyclist has come off his bike on Natimuk-Frances Road.
The male rider, who is yet to be identified, died at the scene.
The exact cause of the crash is yet to be determined and investigations are ongoing.

The fatality takes the 2019 road toll up to 62, significantly higher than the 45 lives lost at the same time of year in 2018.
The incident comes nearly 24 hours after a man died after a crash at Cope Cope on Monday night.
