Giants netball president Mikala Roberts said the $53,800 grant would be used to fix cracks, low spots and any surface issues at the club's Beulah and Hopetoun courts.
Roberts said the upgrades were crucial to get all four courts up and running, allowing junior and senior teams to train together.
"It's just trying to get them upgraded and maintained for all four courts because we need them all for training purposes," she said.
"It's imperative to keep us all at training at the same place on the one night to make it a bit easier."
Roberts said the club was relieved to secure the funding in the second round of government announcements. She said the money had come just in time.
"We can still train on the courts but they're deteriorating unfortunately," she said. "If we didn't get something in place this year we would be in a bit of strife."
There is no set time for the works, but the Giants are hopeful the process will not affect any scheduling for the 2019 Wimmera league season.
