The event started with the Big Irish Brekkie and an artisan's market in the morning followed by the village green opening in the afternoon where people could sample some Irish whisky.
The Horsham School of Dance's Irish dancers will open the Paddy's Bar with a live performance at 7.30pm.
Horsham Agricultural Society secretary Andrea Cross said the attendance has blown them away. She said people travelled from near and far for the Big Irish Brekkie, markets and the afternoon on the village green.
"There are family reunions and people who have come long distances to make it today, which is incredible and the feedback has been great," she said.
Mrs Cross said people donned creative costumes inspired by the Irish theme.
