The girls just missed out on a birth into division three in the pool stages, but dug deep in the knock-out rounds to propel themselves to the division four title.
The girls railed off three consecutive come-from-behind victories by two points, 14 points and finally six points in the final to win the championship. The girls just managed to breakaway from Warnambool in the final, with Molly Fagan top scoring for Horsham with a game-high 17 points.
Head coach Nicole Lakin said she was proud of the brave effort from the team.
"The kids dug really deep. They ran their little hearts out and did not give up. They didn't drop their heads but fought hard and got the reward," Lakin said.
"I am very, very proud of them and every one of them contributed to the team, the full nine of them."
