On Friday night at the Horsham Country Music Festival, a crowd of hundreds got to hear that song and experience a sensory smorgasboard of their own.
They also heard the hits of Johnny Cash, Loretta Lynn and Slim Dusty among others, as part of the festival's tribute night.
A near-cloudless pink sunset provided the backdrop at the Sawyer Park soundshell, accompanied by smoke wafting from the food stalls dotting the edges of the festival space.
Tony Decrea came from Adelaide for the final festival. He said the location and organisation were assets to the event and to Horsham.
"I love country and I mainly come for a good friend of mine Sandie Dodd, and enjoy the rest of the artists while I'm here," he said.
"I am sad this is the last festival, because it's really good so hopefully someone will take over from the committee and continue it. They've got fantastic artists and scenery."
Earlier in the day, artists including Voices of the Wimmera, St Arnaud's Big Bad John, Natimuk's Ron Pannan and Serviceton's Robyn Norton grace the stage as part of the local artists showcase.
