It's a disappointing blow for the Falcons after winning the club's first senior flag in the Ballarat and District Soccer Association's second division last year.
Technical director and premiership player, Noah Talbot, said when the club couldn't find enough new players for the senior side, they had to leave the competition.
"It was pretty much just a lack of numbers - just so many people moving away from last year's side," he said.
This is not the first year Horsham have been without a senior soccer team.
"It's happened a few times before. But we will definitely try to get a team back together for next year," Talbot said.
"It's a bit disappointing, but we still have the juniors who are really excited."
The club will be represented by an under-15 team and an under-12 team in the Ballarat and District Soccer Association junior leagues.
Both junior sides start their season this Sunday with games in Ballarat.
