Coller Rathgeber Property Group director Tim Coller said there had been some interest, though no bids were made on the day.
"We had multiple parties interested coming into the auction, and there is still interest from two of those parties," he said.
"Both of them are locals, who would look at refurbishing the property and putting it into the commercial letting market."
The vendor's reserve price was $250,000, but Mr Coller said his organisation was looking at selling the property for a figure closer to $300,000.
Audene's Boutique has been a fixture in Horsham's CBD for more than 80 years, known for the leopard-print that adorns the walls and many other surfaces in its interior.
Owner Diane Schwarz is the third generation of her family to have control of the retail space. In 2014, she told the Mail-Times a change of hands was inevitable for the business, and that she was "Waiting for the right person to take over".
Mrs Schwarz declined to comment further at the auction.
