The eight-person team consists of players from just three teams - Laharum, Harrow-Balmoral and Swifts.
Harrow-Balmoral have four players in the side, Laharum have three, while Courtney Morrow is the sole representative from Swifts.
No players from reigning premiers Natimuk United are in the team.
Harrow-Balmoral's playing coach Ebonie Salter will be the playing-coach. It is the first time the Horsham District league has had open netball side compete in interleague in two years.
Salter said it was a good opportunity for the league's best netballers to connect, on and off the court.
"It will be a bit of fun with girls that a lot of the time you don't really associate with or talk to apart from those Saturday game days," she said.
"It's nice to see how different teams play and bring together a few different ideas."
Salter said the team certainly had the goal of winning when they take on Loddon Valley at Horsham City Oval on May 18.
"It's difficult to put the girls on (the court) after only a few training sessions, but in the past, we've done pretty well and hopefully we can continue it," Salter said.
"Definitely our goal will be playing to win - that's been pretty clear."
