Olivia's parents were both successful seniors players for the club, and her brother Mitch plays for the Roos' seniors side when he isn't with the Greater Western Victoria Rebels.
"It was pretty much set that I was going to play for Dimboola," she said.
"It's actually quite nice; it makes it more of a family thing and more enjoyable.
"Especially with my parents watching, they can relive the game through me; relive the glory days."
The 19-year-old returned to the Roos this year after spending two seasons with Redan in the Ballarat Football Netball League.
"I missed being home, so I definitely wanted to come back, and I missed the club so much," she said.
"I'm finding the season so far to be really good. I thought coming back to Dimboola I would be a bit bad, but it's been great, and I just love the atmosphere.
"Because I'm a training partner with the Geelong Cougars this year it lightened the load a bit and I was able to come back and play a bit more for Dimboola."
Jorgensen is a member of the Geelong Cougars squad in the Victorian Netball League and recently made her debut for the side in a 56-45 win against the Southern Saints.
"I was very nervous, and it was sort of a last minute thing. I was warming up, and my coach just came up to me and said 'oh you're starting'," Jorgensen said.
"I never thought I would ever be starting; I thought I would be a benchwarmer.
"Because I was a training partner I didn't think I'd play much and just be filling in for Division 1, which is below the Championship."
Training with the Cougars has given Jorgensen plenty to take back to the Roos as they push for the finals.
"Everything they (Cougars) do I take on board, and the Dimboola coaches are always asking about those things, whether they be fitness sessions or structures. It's nice to be able to have an input," she said.
"We've had a couple of rough games to start, but I feel we have a good chance.
"I think we have the team, but it's just about getting the work done."
Dimboola travels to face the Warrack Eagles in the fourth round of the Wimmera league this weekend.
It promises to be a tight contest, with the Roos coming close against undefeated Ararat last weekend and the Warrack Eagles back in winning form.
Minyip-Murtoa host the Southern Mallee Giants at Murtoa.
Elsewhere, the Horsham Saints host early league leaders Ararat and Horsham faces Stawell in a night fixture.
