In an incredibly tight encounter, the Tigers managed to push themselves in front with Jenelle Baker scoring the match winning goal with just seconds remaining.
Short and sharp passes were key on the day, with wet conditions making it difficult to hold onto possession or to try anything fancy.
But with scores level and the clock running down, Holly Noonan took a risk and it paid off for Pimpinio.
"I just remember someone on the sideline saying there wasn't much time left and at that stage the score was level," Pimpinio coach Renee Clarkson said.
"The last goal was such a team effort. We got a turnover, Holly threw a big long pass which was so risky, but we had no other options with no time left.
"She threw it in to Lana Ellis who sent a quick pass to Jenell who scored the goal.
"It was so exciting."
Clarkson said the side were ecstatic after the match, and it was made even more special by a raucous home crowd.
"Everyone was just laughing and carrying on. Someone said that if you had seen us, it would've looked like we'd just won the grand final," Clarkson said.
"It felt so great. A lot of the Pimp crowd also came over to watch the final quarter. They made a lot of home town noise and the players said they heard that and it really spurred them on."
Clarkson was hopeful the win could act as a springboard for the side as they push on in the season.
"This feels like it was a long time coming. We were trying to figure out when the last time Pimp beat Noradjuha-Quantong in A Grade, and someone was saying it must have been around 2002 or 2003," Clarkson said.
"Hopefully after the bye we can keep going forward. We're just trying to keep to our gamestyle and hopefully we can get a few more wins on the board."
At Balmoral, a new look Harrow-Balmoral side were too strong for Swifts. In the absence of the injured Kate Vickery, Brittany Keller moved to goalkeeper, Samantha Crick went to goal attack and Amy Lewis slotted in at goal shooter.
The new look side gelled together impressively to take 23 goal win.
In other matches, Laharum and Natimuk United had convincing wins against Rupanyup and Taylors Lake respectively, while Kalkee were too strong for Jeparit-Rainbow and claimed a 28 goal victory.
