The event at Horsham Town Hall's heritage hall sought to promote the region's artists in a format that benefited their work, while also allowing them to interact with the community.
Nhill painter Isla Dart, a member of Nhill's Gallery Central collective of 26 artists, exhibited several paintings, including her own work and her interpretations of famous artists' works.
"I paint for enjoyment and I'm happy to support the event," she said. "If you make money, it's a bonus."
Edenhope resident Megan Lonsdale won $100 for having the best overall exhibit at the fair.
While Halls Gap resident Leanne Onley was runner up and also won best individual artwork. She said her works were inspired by the places she has lived, which has included Beulah, Donald and Horsham.
"I started painting six years ago when I turned 50 and decided to do something other than my hardware store job," she said.
The event also helps to raise awareness for local charities.
With the money raised from 2019's ticket sales, art sales, raffles and sponsorship, rotary president Geoff Eagle said the club would fund the roll out of a domestic violence support campaign in the region.
"#sayNO2familyviolence is something former president Steve Holmes instigated in the club after talking members of the Maryborough rotary club that started this too," he said.
"The idea is we provide a medium - a website - so if someone is experiencing difficulties they can anonymously find all the appropriate people in Horsham to get in contact with.
"We'll pay for a website and for signs around Horsham with this money."
Mr Eagle said the rotary club had been hosting the fair in conjunction with the Art Is... Festival for the past three years, during which they had only allowed artists from the region to enter and attendance numbers had been encouraging.
