HORSHAM Crime Investigation Unit detectives have arrested two Jeparit men aged 24 and 35, following an alleged brawl which occurred about 5.15pm in the Broadway, Jeparit Friday
A Victoria Police spokeswoman said the 24-year-old had been charged with a number of assault related offences and was remanded to appear before Horsham Magistrates' Court on June 11.
She said the 35-year-old has been released without charge pending further inquiries.
"The investigation remains ongoing and anyone with information is urged to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000," the spokeswoman said.

POLICE are investigating an incident from Jeparit on Friday evening which resulted in on person being stabbed.
"About 5pm Friday police received reports of a number of people fighting in the street," a police statement read.
"Officers arrived and found four people with serious injuries. One of the victims is believed to have been stabbed. All four were taken to hospital.

"Police are still investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident."
The Horsham Criminal Investigation Unit is believed to be looking into the incident.
