Horsham police continue to investigate, after a burglary at Horsham's Cafe Chickpea last week.
Detective senior constable David Richardson of the Criminal Investigation Unit said an unknown number of people entered the Pynsent Street eatery overnight between Tuesday June 4 and Wednesday June 5.
"They stole $500 from the till and another small cash box," he said.
"Nothing else was stolen or damaged, and the cafe owners have reported to us the back door may have been unlocked."
Detective senior constable Richardson said anyone with more information could contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or Horsham Police on 5382 9200.
