The Casterton-native moved to the club after re-locating to Nhill for her work as a teacher and quickly settled in.
Sealey said the strength of the club's community was evident from the start.
"Community-wise the club is really, really good. I think someone said we've nearly got one of the strongest member bases in the league and I think you can tell,' she said.
"Especially when we've had a few tragedies happen over the last few years. For me, being new to the club, you can really see how everyone comes together, which is great."
A consistent performer in Nhill's A Grade side, Sealey has taken on extra responsibility this season.
The versatile Tiger is at the helm of the under-17 side, a move inspired by her experiences as a junior netballer.
"It's my first year coaching, and I've kind of walked into a difficult grade," she said.
"But it's been good because it was the year that I enjoyed most in my netball, so it's good to be on the other side of that now.
"In my junior netball, we were always pretty good but just missed out in grand finals. But, under-17's was the year we won it and went through undefeated.
"It's nice because in a country town you go through juniors with the same teammates, and you build relationships with them. It's kind of bittersweet knowing it's your last year before seniors, and I liked how competitive it was, but still really really fun.
"I think my main aim this year is to get them ready for senior netball, but still allow them to have that last little bit of fun."
Nhill has had a tough start to the season, as the side adjusts to a new coach and player movements. But, Sealey was confident about what the rest of the season had to hold.
"We've lost a fair few players from last year, so we've got nearly a completely new team. So it's probably taken a little while, but we've had a few glimpses where we've shown we're competitive," she said.
"Hopefully, the second half of the season will be a lot better for us."
