The Dimboola Football Netball Club is hosting the football carnival this year and has organised a netball event to coincide.
It is the first time an associated netball carnival will take place.
AFL Wimmera Mallee development manager Jason Muldoon said the carnival was always a highlight of the year
"There's no pressure, no scoreboards, no ladders. It's just kids having fun and parents encouraging them," he said.
"So it's a really fun day, they get a chance to wear their club colours and just participate in a fantastic day."
Sixteen football teams from across all leagues will converge at Dimboola, and fourteen netball teams are set to take to the court.
The action starts at 9:30 in the morning with the sides playing games consisting of two twelve-minute halves.
