Holy Trinity Lutheran College students will reimagine the timeless children's story Pinocchio through the eyes of Gepetto this Thursday and Friday, when they perform the musical My Son, Pinocchio Junior.

A cast of 93 students from years three to 12 will take part after rehearsing for the past six months.
At Monday's dress rehearsal, musical director Tanya Mock said the school had chosen this musical as it was a story that hadn't been told in the Wimmera before.
"I like to tell new stories, and this musical suits the calibre of our students," she said.
"It's about discovering what love really is, about realising no one is perfect and seeing true beauty."
Josiah Mock plays Gepetto, Orlan Hart Pinocchio and Zoa Mock the blue fairy in this production, while Mrs Mock said the role of main antagonist Stromboli will go to an established member of Horsham's Arts community that spent his primary years at the school.
"We have a cameo from Jamie Thomas," she said.
"He has pursued the arts since finishing school, he's been involved in a lot of community shows and Carols by Candlelight, so he's really supportive of arts in the community."
Mrs Mock said the college had received help from Horsham Arts Council and its lunch time arts club to create the set, which includes supersized building blocks and a moon.
