Stawell Police are seeking information from the public with regards to criminal damage which occurred along Seaby and Scallan Streets, Stawell.

Between 12pm Saturday June 15 and 1pm Sunday June 16 June, an unknown person or persons have damaged six to seven trees on the nature strip.
Sergeant Eddie Malpas said the trees are Prunus and Crepe varieties and are the property of the Northern Grampians Shire Council.
"The trees had branches snapped or the entire tree was snapped. The shire have had to remove the trees and will now replace them which will come at a cost," he said.
"The shire do a great job keeping our town neat and tidy for us to all to enjoy and for that we are very fortunate.
"It is therefore particularly disappointing to see that someone has chosen to commit such damage.
Sergeant Eddie Malpas this was not the first instance where shire trees have been damaged in Stawell.
"I am asking anyone out in the community who has knowledge of these instances to come forward and help us with the investigation.
