The Wimmera-Mallee sides will compete against other teams within the Western Bulldogs academy catchment area including the south-west and Ballarat at Ararat's Alexandra Oval during the school holidays.
From the under-15 trial matches, a squad of the best players from across the whole catchment area will be put together to compete at the V/Line Cup later in the year.
The under-14 trial matches are a new introduction to the academy process, providing another avenue of talent development for aspiring footballers in the region.
