The community house members celebrated the day by putting together old pictures and newspaper clippings and sharing their most cherished memories on Tuesday.
Opened in 1984, the community house has delivered a range of children and adult programs for the community over the years.
A luncheon was put together to celebrate the milestone since moving to their new location at Robins Street in Horsham North.
The community House was based in Pearl street since its inception. The big move took place in May after months of consultation with the Horsham Rural City Council.
The new location offered disability access, off-street parking, bigger rooms and outside areas for the programs.
Coordinator Kathy Pilmore said the event had a good turnout despite the relocation.
"We had a get-together and we talked about Horsham Community House over the years. We have been discussing what people remember about the signs we had back in the time," she said.
She said when the community house first started it was mainly "family oriented" for the first 20 years.
Over the years, the community house had introduced more community related programs and activities.
"When I came along it was directed towards adult education. People are unemployed so the demographics have changed," she said.
She said the community house had now started computer courses to help people access government websites.
Mrs Pilmore said the motive of the community house was to encourage people to "drop in and say hello."
"To me it's about bringing people together. We want people to feel welcomed and feel at home," she said.
Mrs Pilmore said the community house was focusing on getting more people involved. She said Horsham residents were still unaware of the relocation and they aimed to get the word out.
She said introduction of more programs to increase community involvement were still in process.
