Upon her arrival from Noradjuha-Quantong last season, the versatile Saint slotted straight into the 17-and-under and A Grade teams with immediate success.
Horsham Saints' one-goal 2018 grand final win secured Hallam her first senior premiership.
"It was amazing. Leading up to it, I was really excited, and I kept having people tell me how much of a special opportunity it was," she said.
"Once the day came, it was great. Everyone from all around the club gets around you, and it was just really special."
Hallam also claimed the 17-and-under best and fairest award to round out a stellar first season in the Wimmera league.
"It was a bit unexpected. On the night I had a couple of friends who were telling me I was going to win, but I didn't really think about it," she said.
Things haven't been as easy for Hallam and the Saints this season.
The reigning premiers have been hit by a string of injuries and have lost key players to other sporting commitments, but the performance of their younger stars has seen the side sidle into the top four.
"It's been hard not having a full side in, but hopefully we can get a few more wins and make our way into finals," Hallam said. "You just go out there knowing you have to give it your absolute all because you don't have anyone else there to do it."
"I think it has helped my development, knowing you just have to go out there and give it your all to win."
Hallam has cemented her position in the Saints' goal ring this season but still lines up for the 17-and-under side when needed.
"It's been good to settle a place. I've been playing 17s a little bit as well, but it's nice to know that I can sit that out and give some of the other girls a bit of a run," she said.
"I've been playing in different positions in the 17-and-under side, usually in defence. It's definitely helped make my game a bit different, which has helped me improve."
Despite the Saints' variability this season, Hallam was confident about the future.
"I'm really loving being at the Saints. It was really good last year and even better this year, both the netball and the social side it," she said.
"To win another premiership would be great and that's obviously the main goal."
