After joining the club as a travelling player in 2018, Beugelaar permanently relocated to the Wimmera from the Northern Territory to take on the senior coaching role this season.
"I'm loving my time down here and I certainly have no plans on moving back to Darwin at the moment," Beugelaar said.
"I've really seen some progress at the club with how we're tracking. The foundations are being set and we're progressing in the right way."
Beugelaar will be supported by his former Northern Territory Thunder teammate Matthew Rosier, who has also signed on for a second season as assistant coach.
Beugelaar said it was exciting to retain Rosier for another season.
"He's a very competitive beast by nature, he sees something in this group and this club moving forward, so that is really exciting," Beugelaar said.
"We're hoping with us two signing on early, it shows to the rest of the competition that we are building and heading in the right direction."
Dimboola president Mick Henderson said 2019 co-coach Matthew Everett will stand down from the coaching role, but will continue providing his assistance to the club.
Mr Henderson said Beugelaar and Rosier had been tremendous additions to the club both on and off the field.
Mr Henderson hoped the two could continue attracting high-quality footballers to Dimboola through their varied connections.
"Something we've lacked in previous years is having that big name to be able to draw high-quality players," Henderson said.
"It's worked this year with the blokes we've been able to recruit, a lot of them are from previous clubs that Justin has played at. Some of our best players this year such as Sam Godden, Fraser Jennings and Matthew Rosier have had connections with Justin.
"The important thing for us is to get those boys appointed and signed on, so we can make some more improvements, and also be able to attract more local players and get some ex-locals back as well.
"If they can see that we're improving and heading in the right direction, then we should find it a bit easier to get some quality players at the club."
