Former owners Abby and Luke Uebergang sold the house last month, with new owners Charles and Carmel Officer purchasing the unique property for $795,000.
Located on Roberts Avenue in the heart of Horsham, Wintonhurst's neighbours include the Horsham Magistrates' Court, the Horsham Police Station and a motel.
The house has been used as a doctor's residence, a solicitor's office, and a bed and breakfast.
It has three living areas, four bedrooms, four bathrooms and an outdoor pool. It also has separate one bedroom bungalow in the backyard.
Mr and Mrs Uebergang bought Wintonhurst in February 2012 for $471,000.
Mrs Uebergang said the couple had spent a significant amount on renovations.
"We wanted to restore it to its original glory, with a modern twist. It had become a bit run down when we bought it," she said.
"There were horse stables still out the back, which we got rid of. We also put in the pool and the deck, cut down two old trees that needed to go and installed a new roof."

Mrs Uebergang said owning the house had been a dream and that it was hard to let it go.
"As a little girl I was always in awe of its beauty. I also love history and there is so much history associated with the house," she said.
"Being right in the centre of town was such a huge benefit. It was a massive decision to sell it."
She said the family has decided to move because they wanted a house with a bigger backyard.
New owner Mrs Officer said she was thrilled to own a part of Horsham history.
"I had a lot of family connections to the home. I remember running up and down the stairs as a child," she said.
"I was very excited when Luke and Abby bought it - and a bit envious - as I knew they would take good care of it."
Mr and Mrs Officer own a farm south of Toolondo. Mrs Officer said the couple had originally planned to build a two-storey home near the Horsham CDB.
"But we were over renovating. When the house was first advertised, I knew we had to take a look," she said.
"As soon as we walked in the door, it was an instant 'wow'. It has a wonderful feel to and such an interesting history."
Dr Stanley Read started building Wintonhurst in 1903 and it was completed by 1905. He lived there with his wife Florence, and their children Amy, Alfred and Ursula.
The house had a separate entrance for the surgery and waiting room.
It was sold to another doctor, Dr Henderson, in 1927, and again in 1952 to Dr Mark O'Brien.
Tim and Cathy Mintern later bought the house and turned it into a successful bed and breakfast.
Horsham Harcourts sales consultant Jock Uebergang sold the house for his brother and sister-in-law, Luke and Abby Uebergang.
He said its central location was a big drawcard.
"It's also the history behind it. We had a lot of inspections through. We even had people who used to work at the doctor's office in the past," he said.
