Robert Gordon Williams admitted three armed robberies at the Ararat RSL on October 18 and 21, and the Sebastopol Bowling Club on October 29.
His charge sheet states he used a jemmy bar, shotgun and crowbar during the robberies.
At the Sebastopol Bowling Club, $5300 cash was allegedly taken, while $7549 and $4375 in cash was allegedly taken from the Ararat RSL within three days.
Williams admitted he attempted to rob Gisborne's Victorian Tavern, armed with a crowbar, on November 11.
He pleaded guilty to the offences at the Ballarat Magistrates' Court on Thursday and was remanded in custody for a plea hearing at a later date.
His co-accused, Adele Young, pleaded not guilty to three armed robberies and one count each of attempted armed robbery and possessing methamphetamine.
Young's charge sheet states she was with Williams, who was armed with the weapon, and with Hastie at one of the Ararat robberies.
The 34-year-old will face a directions hearing in the County Court on August 15.
A third co-accused, Justin Wade Hastie, has been charged with robbing the Sebastopol Bowling Club, armed with a small axe and crowbar, on October 29.
The 42-year-old also faces one charge of robbing the Ararat RSL on November 18.
Magistrate Letizia Torres said she wanted to view CCTV footage relating to the alleged Sebastopol armed robbery before deciding if there was enough evidence for Hastie to stand trial.
She is expected to hand down her decision on August 16. Hastie was remanded in custody until then.
Williams, Hastie and Young all appeared in the Ballarat Magistrates Court on Thursday when a DNA expert and police informant gave evidence in a committal hearing.
