Update 12pm: Victoria Police has confirmed Horsham Crime Investigation Unit detectives are investigating an aggravated burglary at a business in the city on Wednesday morning.

"A man has broken into the Dooen Road business and then entered an apartment attached to the business shortly before 7am. The burglar has been disturbed by the occupants and fled," police said in a statement.
"Police are investigating and urge any witnesses to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or submit a confidential report online at www.crimestoppersvic.com.au."
Previously: Police have a man in custody, as investigations continue into a suspected break in at a Horsham business and residence on Wednesday morning.
Detective Senior Constable Louise Grant said the man is accused of forcing entry to the business and residency on Dooen Road at 6.50am.

She said the accused went through belongings and possessions inside before being interrupted by the person living there.
Investigations continue, and Detective Senior Constable Grant said it is not yet known whether anything was stolen from the premises.
