The event, called United We Stand, was on Friday.
Youth Alive regional co-ordinator Greg McKinnon said the event had been running for about six years.
"The event is about reaching young people and giving them hope. If you look at the statistics of young people with depression and anxiety, the numbers are quite high," he said.
Mr McKinnon said the group ran youth ministries every Friday during school terms, to help young people hone their leadership skills.
"We often see young people in our youth ministries take on leadership roles in their schools," he said.
"Even this year, we have about five students in our youth ministries who are school captains or house sports captain.
"We try to give them opportunities in these environments through public speaking, organising things and giving them different practical life skills as well."
