The first winner was 17 & under netballer Brooklyn Hallam.
As a young and upcoming netballer, Brooklyn has really taken on the challenge of playing senior netball. Not only is she a very talented netballer, she has amazing shooting abilities and has brought a lot of joy into netball.
She is respectful towards her teammates, umpires and fellow players. Although she comes across shy and reserved, her smile and passion is infectious and lifts team spirits. Brooklyn is a humble person and very deserving of the Blue Ribbon award.
Joint winner for round 14 was Denita Reid.
Denita is a coachable young athlete, always applying the feedback given to her and willing to give anything a go. Regardless of her opponent or the score line, Denita gives 100 per cent. She lifts the players around her with her fighting spirit.
Denita always demonstrates a positive and respectful attitude towards all members of the club, opposition and officials.
She may be a young player on the court, but she has a big impact.
Denita has many successful years of netball ahead.
