A 13-day and 12-night walk is currently being constructed in stages with the first stage ready for hikers to explore.
Th e first stage a three-day and two-night hike on a loop conveniently starting and finishing at Halls Gap and covering 36 kilometres.
Spring is a great time for hiking with wildflowers in bloom including orchids and lilies.
At night you'll see the bright stars of the Emu Constellation (not visible in winter).
Be inspired by the spectacular outlook of rugged mountain peaks from the top of Mount Rosea, panoramic views from the Pinnacle Lookout, ancient rock features of the Grand Canyon and the rich cultural history of this truly iconic Grampians landscape.
The remaining sections of the trail will continue to be simultaneously planned for and built up until late 2020, when the full experience is expected to be complete.
