The result comes after a victorious semi-final on Saturday against the Southern Mallee Giants.
It was a cold breezy day but the crowds were huddled around Stawell's Central Park to watch the two sides compete for the coveted grand final spot.
The final scoreboard read 12.10 (82) Burras to the Giants' 8.7 (55).
In the opening quarter Minyip-Murtoa's Brayden Ison kicked a magnificent first goal from inside the 50, with his back partially turned away from the big sticks.
The Burras then kicked two goals in quick succession while the Giants struggled to get going.
In fact, the Giants didn't achieve much of anything in the first half of that quarter, with a single behind lighting up their side of the scoreboard for quite some time.
However, they did eventually make some headway, finishing the quarter at 2.2 (14) to the Burras' 5.3 (33).
Coach Coleman Schache said there were many fundamental mistakes the side made, leading to what he called a "disappointing" outcome.
"It's just the basics that we need to improve on today," he said. "They were first to the footy and they worked harder than us, so it's just the basics we've got to improve for next week."

The Burras continued to dictate proceedings throughout the second quarter, with an early goal bringing their score to 6.4 (40).
"We pride ourselves on our pressure across the ground, and there was some really good individual pressure acts," Burras coach John Delahunty said.
The Giants also started to work a bit harder, also adding a goal of their own to the board.
After a frustrating 10 minutes where neither side gained an advantage, both sides suddenly managed to score a goal in about two minutes of each other.
By half time Minyip-Murtoa was ahead by 20 points but the third quarter saw the Giants pick up the pace again.
However, a couple of mistakes pushed things in the Burras' favour.
The Burras' Nick Kelson was awarded the ball after a Giants player failed to dispose of it, ultimately giving the Burras the first goal of the third quarter.
Minyip-Murtoa's Brylie Cameron quickly added a second to the scoreboard.
On the other side, it took the Giants about five minutes to answer back with a goal of their own.
But the Giants had lost the game by the fourth quarter but they didn't appear demoralized, and Schache highlighted a few players.
"I thought Sam White was really good down the back - he held his head high for a four quarter performance," he said. "Jimmy Wray was solid over a ball as well and Tim Sanford also did a good job down the back."
Next Minyip-Murtoa will continue onto the grand final while the Giants will have one last chance to prove their worth in the preliminaries.
"I'm very pleased," Delahunty said.
"There are some very excited supporters and some really upbeat players as well. It was a really tough win and a tough game, but we managed to keep at it and stuck to it, and in the end it was pretty convincing in one sense."
