17 and Under
Taylors Lake has capped of a stellar season with a premiership win, brushing aside Harrow-Balmoral, 39-27, in a hard-fought affair.
The sides traded early blows in the opening quarter, but the Lakers held strong to end the first term holding a slender three-goal lead.
Taylors Lake found another gear in the second quarter and raced out to a 20-11 lead.
Lakers coach Michelle Wilde said she was expecting a tough game due to the drawn semi-final, where the her side snuck home by one goal in extra time.
"In the second quarter the girls went out firing and got themselves areally good lead," she said.
"I told them to work really hard and defend everything - you never know when a turnover might come."
The Lakers continued to dominated in the third term, but Wilde was wary of a quality Harrow-Balmoral side.
"We just had to keep going and maintain possession of our centres," she said.
"At three quarter time I said to the girls to finish off from the hardwork they had done to put themselves in a leading position.
"Harrow-Balmoral are an unbelievable side. I know how good they are. They will certainly be there again next year."
The Southern Roos won the last quarter 10-6, but it was too little too late as the Lakers claimed the grand final.
"Some of our leaders in our team have played in three grand finals together and can read each other really well," Wilde said.
"We just played our game and at the end of the day, that's what got us over the line."
Taylors' Lake Jorrdan Weir was named best on court.
15 and under
Pimpinio was pushed hard, but the Tigers stormed home late to claim the flag with an emphatic grand final performance
The Tigers were trailing by one goal at the end of the first quarter, but rebounded to end the first half with a three goal lead.
The Lakers fought back in the third term, winning the quarter 11-10 to cut the deficit back to two goals.
Pimpinio rallied again and strung together a blistering final quarter performance to secure a 47-37 win.
Pimpinio's Thalia Thompson was named best on court.
13 and under
Pimpino has secured back-to-back premierships, accounting for Taylors Lake, 38-18, with an impressive grand final display.
Both sides eased into the game, as a healthy crowd flanked the court.
It was the Tigers who adapted to the occasion first, ohlding a 9-5 lead at the end of the first quarter.
From there, Pimpinio stormed away, limiting the Lakers to just eight goals over the next two quarters of netball.
An 11-goal final term sealed the deal for the Tigers , the score finishing 38-18.
Pimpino's Amalie Brown was named the best on court.
