In a 2018 grand final replay, Kalkee took on Noradjuha-Quantong.
The two sides were incredibly even matched, leading to a close affair..
At half time the scores were Kalkee 15 to Noradjuha-Quantong 13.
With scores level in the third quarter, the teams went goal for goal.
The Bombers defenders worked hard, quickly rebounding any loose balls and using the intercepts to edge their side in front.
Three-quarter time scores were Bombers 22 to Kalkee 20.
Kalkee came out firing in the last quarter and with a few quick goals, they took the lead.
The final score was Noradjuha-Quantong 27 to Kalkee 30.
Coach Jaymi O'Connor said it was a great game.
"Noradjuha-Quantong was a fantastic opposition and it was an awesome game," she said.
"They are a great team and full credit to them."
O'Connor said the game was too close for comfort and she was nervous throughout the match.
"I had lots of faith in my girls though," she said.
"Our defensive pressure was unreal and we just got turnover after turnover.
"It was a great team effort."
Kalkee captain Melissa Beddison was named best on court.
"She's an unreal player - she's a true legend," O'Connor said.
"She stood up when she needed to, and we knew she would."
