POLICE and football officials have praised crowd behaviour at the Wimmera league grand final in Horsham at the weekend.

Thousands of players and spectators flocked to Horsham City Oval on Saturday for the event.
AFL WImmera Mallee general manager Steve McQueen said crowds were very well behaved at this year's event.
"There was no reports of any bad behaviour at the ground, which is great to see," he said.
Mr McQueen described crowd numbers as fantastic, despite less than ideal weather.
The mercury in Horsham only got too a cool 15.6 degrees on Saturday, and 2.2 millimetres of rain was recorded.
"It was probably in the top three to four crowds ever for a grand final," Mr McQueen said.
"However, the weather conditions were very unpredictable."
Meanwhile, there was a heavy police presence at the ground on Saturday.
Sergeant Mick Salter said there were no issues with crowd behaviour.
"Everyone was well behaved and conducted themselves appropriately," he said.
