Delahunty had a flawless first season at the helm, guiding Minyip-Murtoa to its first premiership in 21 years.

The Burras' stalwart has re-signed as coach for the 2020 season, alongside assistants Tim Mackenzie and Dan Smith, with Jae McGrath also joining the coaching group.

Delahunty faces stiff competition for the award.

Also nominated are Shane Morwood, who coach Dingley to its fourth Southern League premiership in five years, and 200-game Collingwood player and Heathmere coach Leon Davis.

Sebastopol's Leigh Hutchinson rounds out the nominees, after guiding the club to its first finals campaign since 2000.

The winner will be announced on October 18.
