Stawell Angling Club members fished their second competition of the season at Lake Fyans for a return of some quality redfin, with 3 fish in excess of 40cm.
Trolling with lures such as stumpjumpers and chatterbaits proved to be the most successful method.
Darren Smith reeled in two prime reddies for an aggregate length of 89cm to take top honours from his wife Narrelle, who also landed two reddies at 71cm.
New member Ben Husler also brought in two redfin for a length of 70.5cm to take out third.
No juniors had any luck.
A rainbow trout measuring 53cm gave Damien Keirl the longest fish award.
The next club competition will again be at Lake Fyans from 6am Saturday the 26th of October until 11am Sunday, with final measure at 11.15 am at the clubhouse.
