A vigorous cold front will cross the state on Saturday morning, and parts of the Wimmera are right in the firing line.
Damaging winds, averaging 60 to 70 km/h with peak gusts of around 90 km/h are expected to develop in the west of the warning area during Saturday morning before extending eastwards during the day.
The strongest gusts are likely to be associated with showers and/or thunderstorms.
The State Emergency Service advises that people should move vehicles under cover or away from trees, secure or put away loose items around your house, yard and balcony and keep clear of fallen power lines.
